Scuba Dive Pictures October 12
Tuesday, May 30 - Second dive of the day
All of the underwater pictures that I took were from one dive. We had to rent the camera for the dive, so that is why I only used it once. The dive was probably about 45 minutes long, and we had 11 of these on the whole trip. It was really awesome being there and seeing everything that we did. Besides these pictures we also saw huge grouper, black and white tipped reef sharks, larger turtles, moray eels, and I even saw a cuttlefish. On to the pictures:
Some neat fanlike coral.
A bunch of little damselfish
A view over one of the staghorn coral beds
A huge angelfish
Some random fish
A couple of clowns. I think there is an anemone living down in between the coral.
Some brain coral and a yellow fish.
Another big fish
Another view of a bunch of schooling fish
A school off of one of the reef walls
A Moorish Idol next to some staghorn coral.
You have to look close, but there are 2 barracuda in this picture. We found this sandy low spot with a good current through it and about a dozen barracuda just hanging out.
A closeup of one of the barracuda. That entire mouth is filled with teeth.
There are 5 barracuda in this picture. The largest one we saw was probably about 4-5 feet long.
A cool little black and white fish.
Random reef shot.
Random reef shot 2.
Random fish and coral shot
This guy was pretty big but I cannot remember what type of fish he was.
